I took a cab back from the airport yesterday and on my way home we got stuck at a light about two blocks from my place. The cabbie and I look to the right and there was all sorts of smoke coming from Kansas City BBQ, aka - the joint in Top Gun where Tom Cruise and his buddies hang out. I got out of the cab and walked the rest of the way, but was able to snap off a picture and a quick video of the place going up in flames.

Top Gun bar burns down

The Carriers at Sunset
Every day on my way to work I pass the harbor and yesterday I noticed the NIMITZ, WASHINGTON and STENNIS are all in town. So last night Nikos and I walked down the block and caught this at sunset.
